Their ‘Bringing The Madness’ arena concept has also seen sold-out shows in Mexico and Germany. The latter being the most recent with the Belgian duo breaking the record for the most attendees at a solo DJ show in Germany, with a staggering 45,000 fans joining them at the at the Veltins Arena (home to FC Schalke 04 Football club). In conjunction with Tomorrowland and World Club Dome winter edition, the show sold an impressive 30,000 tickets in under 24 hours signifying once more their popularity amongst their European fan base.
The pick-up from the overwhelming fan support generated is as impressive as both their touring and release schedules, with the duo amassing 8.3 million Facebook likes, over 2.4 million Twitter followers collectively, 2.8 million Instagram fans and more than 548 million YouTube views across their videos, the global phenomenon of the brothers is undeniable. Their smash hit ‘The Hum’ netted them the #1 single spot in their native Belgium going platinum, a feat that was repeated just a few months later with their ‘Higher Place’ collaboration penned with R&B superstar Ne-Yo, which spent an astonishing 10 weeks atop the singles chart in their home country. The track also went on to secure the #1 Billboard Dance Chart spot, furthermore picking up a trend as one of the most Shazamed tracks at festivals including Tomorrowland, Ultra Miami and Creamfields. Their next single ‘Melody’ was a record with previous collaborators Steve Aoki and Ummet Ozcan and was chosen as the official football anthem for the Belgian Red Devils Euro 2016 campaign. Whilst their Tomorrowland-premiered release ‘Hey Baby’, a collaboration with heavyweight Diplo, amassed an impressive 5 million Spotify streams in under 2 weeks and had tongues wagging across the global blogsphere, confirming another stellar hit for the guys. ‘Hey Baby’ also climbed its way to the summit of the #1 Billboard Dance Chart, giving the brothers their 2nd Billboard #1,and to date has garnered over 42 million Spotify streams and 16 million YouTube views.
